To hear a "Daddy" version of the song Rainbows, Railroads and Rhymes, listen to Rick Burch on Soundcloud.
"On her latest CD, Rainbows, Railroads and Rhymes, Miller draws from traditional folk music while incorporating creative covers and five original tunes. The recording starts with the breezy original "My Kitchen Door," which is an animal word association song. Next up is a bluegrass-flavored rendition of Peter Seeger's "Crawly Creepy Little Mousie," with additional original lyrics. Miller is quite good at adapting songs, sometimes to surprising effects; "John the Rabbit" is a kids variant on the traditional spiritual "John the Revelator," while "What Did You Have For Supper" recasts a classic Celtic death ballad into a happy little song about getting ready for bed."
"When Miller sings a lullaby, as in her adaptation of Christina Rosetti's poem "Clouds" (called "White Sheep, Black Sheep" on the CD) or the album's sweeping title track, she pours on lush instrumentation and shows a close affinity for the music of Loreena McKennitt. The album is gentle and sweet throughout." source

"A wide variety of gentle musical styles include kid-friendly folk, calypso and blues. Each song supports Miller's exceptional vocals and songwriting skills in a selection of traditional and original songs about nature's wonders and more." source
National Parenting Publications
The
Parents' Choice Awards program honors the best
material for children: books, toys, music and storytelling, magazines, software,
videogames, television and websites. Parents'
Choice Foundation's panels of educators, scientists, performing artists, librarians,
parents and, yes, kids themselves, identify
the very best products for children of different ages and backgrounds, and of varied
skill and interest levels.
Now in its 18th year, NAPPA is the most comprehensive awards program for
Children's Products and Parenting Resources. Our independent panel of judges
are experts in their fields with extensive professional experience working
with children and parents. They evaluate hundreds of products to select the
most fun, appealing, safe, educational, age-appropriate and enduring products
so that parents can make the best purchasing choices for their families.
